Ara West Sea Lock → Yangpyeong
Follow the Ara Waterway to the Han River, then continue via Yeouido, Paldang, Neungnae Station and the Bukhangang railway bridge toward Yangpyeong.
Find food stops and accommodation information in the detailed guide. Allow extra time for stops in Seoul.
Yangpyeong → Chungju, with optional Suanbo
Ride past Ipo, Yeoju and Gangcheon weirs and Binaeseom toward Tangeumdae in Chungju. Continue to Suanbo only if your time and energy allow.
About 94.2 km to Tangeumdae
About 122.3 km in total if you continue to Suanbo.
The map ends at Tangeumdae; the GPX continues to Suanbo. Distances are calculated from the GPX and exclude detours to meals or accommodation.
Beyond Suanbo
Further route and overnight-stop guides will be linked here as they become available.
Three things to plan before setting off
- Overnight stops: Allow enough daylight to reach your accommodation, and ask about bicycle storage before booking.
- Maps and GPX: Check the start and end points of each file. Follow local closure and detour signs along the way.
- Certification stops: Stamp locations and passport sales points may differ. Check the official certification-center information · Korean before your visit.
